Summary: The Marketing Content Manager will lead the planning and execution of content across social media, in-store, and web platforms to enhance a key brand for an international business. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to collaborate with various internal teams while focusing on website optimization, SEO, and social content. The position is a 7-month contract based in Southampton, with a hybrid working arrangement. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2C marketing within a complex organization and a strategic mindset for content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve and develop the sub-brands communication strategy and plan, focusing on website optimization, SEO, and social content.
  • Plan and execute communications across social media, in-store, website, print, and product messaging plans.
  • Create content including copy, visual guidelines, and briefs for agencies.
  • Build relationships with internal teams like packaging and wider marketing to ensure all messaging is aligned.
  • Lead activation and rollout of campaigns.
  • Track performance and optimize campaigns, identifying areas for improvement based on customer behavior and trends.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization, ideally with an international scope.
  • Experience in B2C marketing with a focus on social media, campaign management, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of website optimization and SEO.
  • Experience in fast-moving sectors like retail or FMCG.
  • Collaborative with the ability to build relationships across functions and cultures.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on content creation skills.

Marketing Content Manager - Social Media & Website Optimisation £47,500 - £57,500 + Strong Benefits (Pro Rata) 7 Month Contract Southampton 1 day per week, WFH 4 days Our client, a well-known international business are looking to hire a Social and Content Lead to plan and execute content across social media, in-store and web to help grow one of their key new brands.
