Summary: The Marketing Content Manager role at Forage Farm Shop & Kitchen involves supporting the Marketing Director in promoting the business through strategic campaigns and content creation. This part-time, temporary position has the potential to become permanent and requires collaboration with various departments to enhance marketing efforts. The successful candidate will engage in data analytics, email marketing, and relationship management while contributing to the overall marketing strategy. The role emphasizes a hands-on approach within a dynamic and community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Creation and development of the annual marketing plan and support its delivery
  • Campaign development promoting all departments – restaurant, shop, butchery and events
  • Data analytics (track and report on marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements)
  • Managing and implementing email marketing campaigns (using Mailer Lite)
  • Relationship Management – work with suppliers to gain content on new products and suppliers & influencers
  • Managing the loyalty scheme (managing rewards, campaigns and promotions via app and instore device)
  • Creating/editing existing annual sponsorship packs (Canva)
  • Customer satisfaction survey creation (Google Forms)
  • Collaborating with team heads to gain product knowledge and content
  • Content creation (Canva)
  • Supporting blog post creation to support wider marketing strategy
  • Coordinating and communicating with external graphic designer, web developer, printers and digital agencies as necessary
  • Assisting with in-store marketing materials
  • Using marketing research and customer insights to inform strategy
  • Joining the team to assist in activities as required

Key Skills:

  • A strong academic track record, preferably with qualifications in marketing
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, with an eye for detail
  • Solid digital marketing experience working across multiple channels
  • A hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Outstanding organisation skills with an ability to juggle multiple requirements and projects
  • Ideally 2 years digital marketing experience (preferred)
