Summary: The Marketing Communications Specialist role is a contract position focused on creating engaging marketing assets for a manufacturing team in Eagan, Minnesota. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually compelling social media content and supporting graphics that align with campaign goals and brand standards.
- Create and refine marketing materials using design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Produce and edit short-form video content to strengthen digital engagement and expand brand visibility.
- Prepare creative briefs and organize project inputs so design and content requests are clearly defined from the start.
- Coordinate the delivery of artwork, copy, and other assets to support timely production of marketing materials.
- Review content and layouts for quality, consistency, and accuracy before release or publication.
- Track milestones and follow up with stakeholders to help ensure deadlines are met across multiple marketing projects.
- Apply knowledge of file specifications, image resolution, and format requirements when preparing assets for print and digital use.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience using Adobe Illustrator for marketing or graphic design projects.
- Working knowledge of design terminology, including file formats, sizing standards, and high-resolution asset requirements.
- Proficiency in developing social media graphics and related digital content using Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience creating video content, including editing work completed in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Understanding of graphic design principles and how to translate ideas into effective visual assets.
- Background in project coordination or marketing support, including brief development and deadline management.
- Strong proofreading and organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
