Summary: The Communications & Marketing Assistant role offers an opportunity to develop a career in marketing and communications within a law firm. The position involves implementing social media strategies, creating content, and supporting internal communications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing social media strategies: monitor channels, create content, analyse engagement.
  • Adapt and produce content for multiple platforms.
  • Source, edit and create on-brand digital assets (images, graphics, audio, video).
  • Maintain and upload website content via WordPress; interpret analytics to inform decisions.
  • Support internal communications through SharePoint and intranet updates.
  • Help prepare marketing materials, credentials and pitch presentations.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of internal and client events.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers and internal teams for logistics and catering.
  • Support CSR initiatives and charity partnerships.
  • Manage branded merchandise stock and assist with administrative tasks.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn tools like WordPress, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Accurate copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in marketing or communications within a professional setting.
  • Desirable skills: WordPress and SharePoint experience, video/audio editing skills, social media content creation experience.
