Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver vessel improvement projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Attend vessels during installation and commissioning phases to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Oversee project planning, procurement, contractor management, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with the Management of Change process.
  • Respond to technical queries and support investigations related to project work.

Key Skills:

  • Class 1 or 2 Marine Engineer Certificate, or equivalent in Naval Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HND, or APM Project Management qualification with marine experience.
  • Proven experience in leading marine-related projects.
  • Strong project scoping, planning, and implementation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with project tools and methodologies.
  • Background in commercial ship operations or seagoing marine roles.
  • Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to join our Standards and Performance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality project management for vessel improvements, modifications, and upgrades. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to implementation and stakeholder engagement.
