Summary: The Marine & Helicopter Coordinator will oversee emergency response coordination and manage vessel and helicopter traffic for an Offshore Wind Farm Developer in England. This role requires effective communication with project staff and external agencies, as well as the management of access restrictions and personnel tracking. The coordinator will also provide weather data analysis and maintain relationships with stakeholders and data providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate emergency response and liaise with project staff and external agencies.
- Control vessel and helicopter traffic according to established protocols.
- Track people, vessels, and communications effectively.
- Manage access restrictions for wind turbine generators (WTG).
- Optimize vessel allocations and adapt to changes in daily schedules.
- Operate the offshore management system ensuring personnel certification and asset maintenance.
- Provide weather forecasting and interpret data for project and vessel masters.
- Resolve issues with weather data and liaise with local stakeholders as needed.
Key Skills:
- Over 2 years of experience in Marine Coordination.
- Competence in using Supplier Database for Offshore Operations.
- Proficient in Radio Communications.
- Computer literate.
- Familiarity with Maritime Certification.
- Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
- Experience in Emergency Response Offshore.
- UK working rights.
