Summary: The Marine & Helicopter Coordinator role involves overseeing safe offshore operations and logistics for a wind farm developer. The role demands flexibility in working hours, including day and night shifts, and may involve additional ad-hoc work. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate emergency response and liaise with project staff and external agencies.
- Control vessel and helicopter traffic according to established protocols.
- Track personnel, vessels, and communications effectively.
- Manage access restrictions for wind turbine generators (WTG).
- Optimize vessel allocations and manage unforeseen changes to schedules.
- Operate the offshore management system to ensure personnel certification and asset maintenance.
- Liaise with local stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide and interpret weather forecasting and observation data for project and vessel masters.
- Maintain relationships with weather data providers and resolve data issues.
Key Skills:
- Competent in using Supplier Database for Offshore Operations.
- Proficient in radio communications.
- Computer literate.
- Familiarity with maritime certification.
- Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
- Experienced in offshore emergency response.
- Skilled in personnel tracking and marine traffic control.
- Knowledge of airspace coordination for safe flight operations.
- Experience in monitoring weather and marine operations.
- Ability to conduct statutory reporting related to marine operations.
