Summary: The Marine Compliance Manager will oversee compliance with national and international marine regulations and internal policies at ABP's Wales marine department. This role involves managing the Safety Management System (SMS), training, and competency standards while ensuring continuous improvement in marine operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with national and international marine regulations and internal policies.
• Develop, manage, and improve the Safety Management System (SMS) for the Wales marine department.
• Oversee training budget and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements for marine staff.
• Administer and authorize Harbour works consents and manage navigational mark management.
• Assist in incident management and participate in the Marine response team.
• Support the management team in achieving departmental aims and objectives.
• Provide safety reports and advice on SMS performance and safety-related issues.
• Conduct investigations as directed by the Harbour Master or Deputy.
• Oversee third-party contracts and licenses applicable to the Marine Department.
• Monitor marine licensing for dredging programs and third-party operators.
