Key Responsibilities:
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier quality performance.
- Plan and schedule supplier audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.
- Handle third parties for activities on site and in factories, including selection of third-party service providers, definition of Request for Quotation (RfQ) packages, creation of Purchase Requisitions, budget management, and reporting on performance.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering departments on quality and procurement plans.
- Actively participate in applicable procurement Gate reviews.
Key Skills:
- Strong Quality background with special manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in Supplier Quality Management, including planning and performing audits.
- Certified Auditor preferred.
- Experience in managing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
- In-depth understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and equipment procurement requirements.

The Manufacturing Quality engineer is responsible for improving the quality of internal and external suppliers. This role involves defining KPIs, planning supplier audits and inspections, handling third parties for activities on site and in factories, recording and managing findings and non-conformities, and monitoring supplier performance against quality standards.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier quality performance.
- Audit and Inspection Planning: Plan and schedule supplier audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.
- Third-Party Management:
- Handle third parties for activities on site and in factories, including: Selection of third-party service providers with technical expertise needed. Definition of Request for Quotation (RfQ) packages. Creation of Purchase Requisitions. Budget Management and Cost Control. Reporting on third-party performance and compliance.
- Corrective and Preventive Actions:
- Lead RCA (PSR/ 8D) Implement corrective actions to address non-conformities and improve supplier quality.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering departments on quality and procurement plans.
- Gate Reviews:
