Summary: The Manufacturing Process Engineer will play a crucial role in the manufacturing engineering function, collaborating with a multifunctional team to facilitate the industrialization of production processes. This position involves translating design intent into technical instructions and managing manufacturing data for aircraft production. The engineer will also implement best practices and project manage various manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate design intent into technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering data for aircraft detail manufacture, assembly, test, and certification.
• Implement best practice methods, tools, and processes to meet business requirements.
• Deliver detailed work preparation definition including routings, BOM's, SOI's, and STV calculations for aircraft production.
• Ensure compliance with departmental procedural and regulatory requirements in all work and documentation.
• Project manage detail manufacture, assembly, test, and certification methods, tools, and process improvements.
• Evaluate manufacturing process capacity and recommend design changes as needed.
• Provide electrical/mechanical shopfloor support to operations, supply chain, and Final Assembly Lines.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of lean principles.
• Experience with SAP and other business management tools (DPDS/PASS, PDM link systems, MTM TiCon systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google office tools.
• Ability to operate from first principles in manufacturing disciplines.
• Ideally 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Experienced knowledge of aircraft production and engineering methods.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership skills and self-motivation.
