Summary: The Manufacturing Operator role at Ultra Precision Control Systems involves the manufacture, integration, and testing of high precision products for the aerospace industry. The position requires adherence to detailed engineering drawings and company procedures while ensuring quality and compliance in manufacturing processes. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining training records and understanding the requirements of being an Ultra PCS certified Stamp Holder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for the aerospace industry.
  • To manufacture a variety of sub-assemblies for use with Ultra’s range of high precision products using appropriate tooling and processes in accordance with the individual’s scope of approval.
  • Setup tooling such as presses, drills, special to type tooling etc in accordance with controlled documentation, and in accordance with the individual’s scope of approval.
  • To ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
  • To maintain training records in accordance with company procedure as evidence of work carried out.
  • Full understanding of the expectations and requirements of being an Ultra PCS certified Stamp Holder.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant drawings, manufacturing instructions process sheets and specifications.

Key Skills:

  • Familiar with Code of Practices and IPC620A Standards – not essential as training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a precision assembly environment.

Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join PCS's manufacturing function, which is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.
