Our client, a large Aerospace and Defence supplier is looking for Manufacturing Operatives to join them on a contract basis at their site in Southampton.Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be willing to go through basic security checks.Fully onsite due to the nature of the role. 15 p/h PAYE.12 month initial contract.You will be required to carry out a range of Manufacturing tasks using the site Process Work Instructions.The role includes being able to:Work in line with business processes and procedures, SAP, and local Inspection standard Operating processesAccurately perform the required Manufacturing Processes in line with the site Quality ProceduresControl and Process all relevant Manufacturing & Quality documentationSupport Perpetual inventory checks.Completion of All product types through the required processesMaintain inventory accuracy and batch traceabilityAll training for the roles advised will be providedWhat we are looking for:You must be computer literate and be able to complete set tasks accurately & precisely.Neat and tidy work ethic in line with 5s principlesManually dexterous.Must be prepared to work as part of small, closely knit team who can work unsupervised to complete set tasks.Able to review and follow and carry out Quality InstructionsLiaise with support functions to ensure customer deliveries are maintained at all timesBe flexible and able to support a number of Process operations - these include cleanrooms (at Class 6 Standard) and Controlled Working Environments.
