We have approximately 300 employees across the UK & US.The Role Manufacturing / ProductionOperative(Billet Prep)Using manual lathes,bandsawsTarget focused, must hit output quotaOperating process equipment and machinery, including semi and fully automated machineryMonitoring processes and recording parameters for production records, log sheets and SAP transactionsCommunicating current status to other operators and departmentsPerforming in house tests/analysis to ensure product is produced in line with specificationsPacking of finished goods into drums, bags, onto pallets or other forms of container for transportationAiding in the investigation and identifying the root cause of out of spec product and / or production issuesWhat you ll need to be considered for thisManufacturing Operative role:Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience on manual lathes or saws-Preferably qualified machinistFLT licence5x GCSE s (Incl. Eng, Maths) A-CPost school education (NVQ lvl 3 or equivalent)Achieved a minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as Engineering, Science, Manufacturing etcAbility to use own initiative, prioritise tasks, and work under pressureSafety conscious and have a high level of attention to detailProfessional approach to work and a team playerMust have a valid forklift truck licence.
