Summary: The Manufacturing Logistics Intern will support the Logistics and Manufacturing teams by auditing and reviewing bills of material and usage data. This role involves verifying parts, liaising with engineering and logistics, and driving improvements in product quality and reliability. The intern will also be expected to manage their workload independently while collaborating with team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verification and review of parts and bill of material data sheets.
  • Identification of parts and alternative parts for use within the assembly process.
  • Liaise with Engineering and Logistics to facilitate suitable usage and consumption of parts.
  • Drive improvement in Quality and Reliability of product by enhancing stock usage and minimum/maximum stock holdings and consumption rates.

Key Skills:

  • Studying towards or holding a degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Workplace Organisation.
  • Experience with TeamCenter & BOM Systems.
  • Understanding of Vehicle Assembly and part consumption.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sigip.
  • Ability to learn new computer systems with ease (CNHi & Fiat Specific).
  • Ability to work well both independently & as part of a team, taking lead roles where necessary.
  • Self-Motivated, independently able to manage workload, excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication & presentation skills.
  • Ability to work at weekends to suit business needs.
