Understanding operational pain points and plan resolvesTo provide specialised engineering technical support to various areas of the organisationDelivering continuous improvement for People, Quality, Velocity and Cost metricsAdapting team deliverables based on current business landscapeTo co:ordinate Torque tool implementation, tool design, assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, releasing, etcDelivering capital projects for process enhancement and to improve customer satisfaction, conducting research and ensuring proper approvalsThe co:ordination of the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture or assembly of quality partsLikely qualifications or skills for this role may include;Manufacturing Engineering / Engineering Management Degree or equivalent experienceStrong leadership and communication skillsProficiency in Lean leadership and 6 Sigma methodologiesPrince2 certifiedThis is an initial 6 month contract role based on site in Desford, to learn more pleases contract Grant Nisbet on quoting reference 68420.Core hours are 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 10.30am on Friday.Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
