Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Lead Joining Engineer, BIW Process Engineering, and Product Development teams to shape manufacturable joining solutions.
- Evaluate feasibility trials, validate data, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with vendor engineers, ensuring timely technical reviews and adherence to project timelines.
- Drive consistency across projects, aligning with best practices and standard methodologies.
- Leverage digital tools to automate processes, build dashboards, and perform advanced data analysis using macros, PowerApps, and AI.
- Partner with project teams and vendors to ensure compliance with joining technology standards and buy-off procedures.
- Develop insights into how joining technologies interface with manufacturing systems, including adhesive bonding, FDS, RSW, SPR, and more.
