Summary: Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in SAP to enhance manufacturing processes for a leading Aerospace company. The role involves managing engineering changes, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position is based on-site in Kilmarnock and is classified as inside IR35 for an initial 3-month contract. There is potential for extension based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
  • Implement and manage engineering changes across production, ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing data within SAP.
  • Analyse production and operational data from SAP to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and design engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) processes and ensure smooth transition into manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and aerospace quality standards.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within an aerospace or complex manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (BOM management, data analysis, process updates).
  • Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality standards.
  • Experience in engineering change management and configuration control.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable process improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Desirable: Aircraft manufacturing experience (fuselage, wings, or other major structures).
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
  • Experience working within an aerospace manufacturing organisation.
