Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer - Dimensional role involves providing technical support for various measurement processes and leading improvement activities to enhance efficiency and data integrity within the manufacturing cell. The position is on an initial 12-month contract and requires a strong background in manufacturing or process engineering. The successful candidate will engage in Measurement System Analysis and apply analytical skills to drive cost savings and capacity increases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support for processes including Computer Tomography, CMM, Ultrasonic, Comparator Gauges, and Caliper Gauges.
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis studies (Gauge R&R) to validate changes to the measurement system.
• Lead improvement activities in the dimensional cell to achieve cost savings and increase cell capacity.
• Enhance quicker data access and improve data integrity.

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering.
• Analytical and problem-solving knowledge, including six-sigma and lean techniques.
• Comfortable presenting data at all levels.
• Experience in Measurement Systems or a strong interest in professional development in that area.
