Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer – Engine Hot Test role is a site-based position in Stafford, focused on supporting engine hot test processes during a 12-month assignment. The successful candidate will engage in rebalancing work and preparing the production line in response to increased demand. Candidates should possess relevant experience and skills in manufacturing engineering, particularly in engine hot testing. This role requires a strong understanding of lean methodologies and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Involved with rebalancing work and preparing the production line.
  • Support key aspects of the engine hot test process.
  • Apply lean methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen improvement tools.
  • Utilize tooling and fixturing skills effectively.
  • Engage in software programming and coding as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and controls.

Manufacturing Engineer – Engine Hot Test Stafford (site based) Hours - Mon to Thurs 7:15am-4:30pm 12 month assignment

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with Engine Hot Test experience? If so, this could be a great role for you. Due to a volume uplift, this is a vacancy where the successful candidate will be involved with rebalancing work, getting the line ready, and supporting key aspects of the process.

Qualifications & Experience Required of the Manufacturing Engineer – Engine Hot Test

  • 2+ years of engine hot test experience
  • Time balancing skills
  • Tooling and fixturing skills
  • Experienced in the application of lean methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen improvement tools
  • Knowledge of systems and controls
  • Experience with software programming / coding
  • Good understanding of an operations environment
