Summary: The Manufacturing BOM Engineer Release Specialist role involves managing the release of engineering concerns within the automotive sector, specifically focusing on validating and releasing change orders in DELMIA. Key Responsibilities:
- Load, validate and release all Engineering Concerns (Change Orders/Change Actions) in DELMIA
- Attend regular cross-functional meetings
- Maintain progress reports to line managers and customers
- Conduct validation activities to ensure robust and accurate releases
- Manage releases to completion within programme timing
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in engineering release
- Well knowledge of navigating engineering structure
- Experience or knowledge of driving process improvement activities and managing change
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry
- DELMIA knowledge
- Experience of using Agile methodology, JIRA / Confluence

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Coventry, who are seeking a Manufacturing BOM Engineer Release Specialist to join their team
Job Description
As Manufacturing BOM Engineer Release Specialist, your main responsibilities are:
- Load, validate and release all Engineering Concerns (Change Orders/Change Actions) in DELMIA
- Attend regular cross-functional meetings
- Maintain progress reports to their line managers and with the customer.
- Conduct any validation activities needed to ensure our releases are robust and accurate.
- Manage the releases to completion and within the programme timing.
Qualifications / Skills needed
Proven experience in engineering release.
Well knowledge of Navigating Engineering structure.
Experience or knowledge of driving process improvement activities and managing change.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
DELMIA Knowledge
Experience of using Agile methodology, JIRA / Confluence
