Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement new or revised processes for assembling components and subassemblies, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Design principles to optimise assembly processes.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments to ensure designs align with manufacturing build requirements, focusing on Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Develop and implement written processes, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
  • Analyse and ensure process capability, including the application of Dimensional Management techniques.
  • Manage quality planning and analysis to meet Integrated Production System (IPS) deliverables.
  • Support virtual and physical build events, addressing and resolving technical issues as they arise.
