Summary: The role of Manual Test Engineer involves supporting a major energy client through a leading consultancy, focusing on hands-on testing across infrastructure, applications, and End User Computing (EUC). Candidates must be comfortable working in a complex, regulated environment and possess strong communication skills. Preference will be given to SC-cleared candidates or those willing to obtain clearance. The position is hybrid, based in Warwick, and requires a strong manual testing background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network & File Systems Testing: LAN network testing, file systems including EFS and mounting, infrastructure validation, and defect analysis.
- Application & Network Testing: Manual testing across enterprise applications, network integration and system testing, defect management, and release validation.
- EUC & Zscaler Testing: Testing of End User Computing (desktop, laptop, virtual environments) and Zscaler (ZIA / ZPA), ensuring secure access and user experience validation.
Key Skills:
- Strong manual testing background.
- Experience in at least one of the specified domains.
- Comfortable in consultancy-led, enterprise environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

We’re supporting a major energy client via a top consultancy and need three Manual Test Engineers across infrastructure, applications, and EUC. These are hands-on roles in a complex, regulated environment. If you can’t operate without structure and scrutiny, this isn’t for you.
