Summary: Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester for a 6-month contract role, focusing on ensuring the quality and stability of applications across various projects. The position requires executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and project managers in a hybrid work environment. The role emphasizes manual testing while supporting Agile methodologies. Candidates should have proven experience in manual testing and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse system specifications, requirements, and user stories
- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases
- Collaborate with the test Lead to update and maintain existing Automation tests
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Log, track, and document bugs and issues in a clear, concise manner
- Collaborate closely with Developers, BAs and other team members to reproduce and resolve issues
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups (Agile environment)
- Ensure all issues are thoroughly tested before releases
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes when required
- Maintain documentation of test processes and results
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in manual testing of web, mobile and API applications
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman)
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and reports
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
