Summary: The role of Manual Tester (ERP) involves joining a large organization to conduct testing on various ERP systems and related processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing across ERP systems and related areas such as supply chain, invoicing, payroll, and CRM.
- Design and maintain test frameworks, including BDD frameworks.
- Test and validate structured data formats and perform REST API testing.
- Generate and interpret test execution reports and manage defects.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and understand software development life cycles.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with manual testing.
- Experience with ERP systems, supply chain/order management, invoicing, payroll, and CRM.
- Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience in test framework design and maintenance.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, CSV, XPath, and schema validation techniques.
- Experience with REST API testing and version control systems.
- Knowledge of test management tools like Zephyr, Jira, TestRail, or Azure Test Plans.
- Understanding of risk-based testing and test design techniques.

Bench IT require an experienced Manual Tester (ERP) to join a large organisation starting ASAP working remotely. The Manual Tester will need experience testing across any of the following areas: ERP systems, supply chain/order management tracking, invoicing and payments, payroll, customer relationship management.
The position will be working hybrid remotely and 2-3 days per week in central London.
The successful Manual Tester (ERP) should have the skills and experience included below.
- Strong experience with Manual Testing
- Strong experience testing with any of the following areas is mandatory: ERP systems, supply chain/order management tracking, invoicing and payments, payroll, customer relationship management
- Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or another major programming language used for automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience in test framework design and maintenance (eg, BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber, or Reqnroll)
- Experience testing and validating structured data formats - XML, JSON, CSV, etc.
- Familiarity with XPath, JSONPath, and schema validation techniques
- Experience with REST API testing
- Knowledge of version control systems (eg, Git, GitHub, Azure Repos)
- Experience using test management tools such as Zephyr, Jira, TestRail, or Azure Test Plans
- Experience generating and interpreting test execution reports
- Familiarity with defect management workflows and agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
- Understanding of software development life cycles and agile delivery practices
- Good understanding of risk-based testing and test design techniques
