Summary: The Manual Test Engineer role focuses on manual testing within End User Computing (EUC) and Zscaler security environments. The position is office-based in Wokingham, UK, and is offered as a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating various EUC components and conducting network testing across enterprise systems. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance in IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of EUC components: laptops/desktops, VDI, Citrix, mobile devices.
- Validate application packaging, distribution, and performance across EUC environments.
- Test Windows OS upgrades, M365 applications, collaboration tools, and enterprise software.
- Conduct Zscaler testing (ZIA, ZPA, Client Connector), authentication, SSO, and policy validation.
- Execute network testing, including firewall policies, VPN, LAN/WAN connectivity, and routing rules.
- Document test cases, results, defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Key Skills:
- 3–7 years of manual testing experience in EUC and network/security environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Zscaler components, Citrix, VDI, Windows/Mac OS, and M365 applications.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
