Manual Software Tester (Salesforce)

Overview

Our client are looking for an experienced Manual Tester / Salesforce Tester to support a key programme of work on an initial 3-month contract basis.

We are particularly interested in candidates with Salesforce testing experience; however, applicants with strong manual testing expertise and API testing experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end manual testing across business-critical applications.
• Design, create, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and manage defects through to successful resolution.
• Test and validate system integrations and API functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven commercial experience in manual software testing.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs and system integrations.
• Strong ability to create clear, structured, and comprehensive test documentation.
• Experience managing defects and undertaking effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Desirable Skills

• Experience testing Salesforce platforms and applications.
• Understanding of Salesforce data models, workflows, and integration processes.
• Previous experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
• Familiarity with testing tools and defect management platforms.
