Due to outstanding business growth, an exciting product development roadmap and extensive feature request list we are seeking an ambitious and motivated QA tester to join our development team and play an essential part in testing our full suite of telephony applications, working closely with our lead QA Engineer. This role will be mostly remote but will require some on site days. Rigour, consistency, tenacity and attention to detail are the key attributes required to be successful in this role.
The successful candidate will be confident in building and maintaining test plans, executing manual testing scenarios, reproducing issues and documenting the results. Your goal will be to drive full and thorough testing of all MyPhones systems and to make the development team more efficient by accurately describing reproducible issues.
Essential Technical Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in the manual testing of large applications including: reviewing and analysing specification documents and business requirements, defining acceptance criteria, creating test plans, running test plans and reporting on result, reproducing defects.
- A good understanding of various types of testing (system, functional, regression, load, security etc.) including how, where, and when to apply them.
- Some prior experience working within an ‘Agile’ methodology.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
Advantageous Technical Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of telephony systems
