What Does a Career in Quantity Surveying Estate Look Like?

A career in Quantity Surveying is varied and dynamic, no two days are the same. Quantity Surveyors evaluate the financial impact and profitability of construction projects, becoming experts in cost estimation at every stage of a building’s lifecycle. As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll also ensure projects adhere to legal and quality standards. Your involvement begins at the project’s inception, making you a key contributor to its success.

The Programme:

At Cushman & Wakefield, you’ll make a meaningful impact from day one. You’ll work on real projects, contributing valuable ideas and learning what it means to work in commercial real estate. This experience will help you develop new skills while gaining deeper insights into our business and industry. You’ll also participate in our Global Internship Programme, connecting with hundreds of interns around the world. This includes expert-led sessions, Q&As with senior leaders, discussion panels, and networking events, all designed to enhance your understanding of what a career at Cushman & Wakefield can offer.

Eligibility:

Our Quantity Surveying Internship is open to students from all degree disciplines, as we value transferable skills from a range of fields. You do not need to be enrolled in a Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited course to apply-what’s most important is your interest in stepping into the world of commercial real estate. However, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be in your penultimate year of study. (Please indicate on your application form if you are a final year graduate but booked onto or planning to complete a Master’s next academic year).
