Managing Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and surveying aspects of civils projects.
• Handle valuations, applications, variations, final accounts and cost reporting.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, procurement and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, risks and opportunities.
• Provide contractual and commercial advice to the project team.
• Ensure accurate measurement, records and commercial documentation.

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Managing Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within civils.
• Background in highways, infrastructure, utilities, groundworks or similar civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial management, measurement, valuations, subcontracting and contract administration.
