Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Performance Reporting for Cost Stewardship Meetings
- Prepare, analyse, and distribute detailed monthly performance reports.
- Consolidate financial and operational data, conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Deliver clear commentary on business performance and key drivers.
- Provide sensitivity analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Bi-Monthly Presentations to International Leadership Team
- Lead preparation of performance presentations for HQ senior leadership.
- Ensure UK business financial results and operational highlights are clearly communicated.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and tailor messaging for an international audience.
- Month-End Deliverables
- Prepare comprehensive income statement analysis for HQ submission.
- Provide explanations for significant variances and trends.
- Deliver vendor analysis, risk/opportunity assessments, and monthly management reports for UK leadership.
- Benchmarking and Industry Analysis
- Conduct benchmarking against industry peers.
- Identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support decision-making with insights from competitor and market data.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnering

The Role: The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting, analysis, and planning processes for the UK business. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to clearly communicate financial insights to senior stakeholders across the organisation. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely performance reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external reporting requirements. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation, including Beijing HQ, senior leadership, and teams across finance and the wider business, to ensure aligned objectives and effective information flow.
