Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and payment of weekly and monthly salaries, including HMRC compliance
  • Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
  • Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
  • Arranging payments and posting journals
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Overseeing transactional processing roles
  • WIP reviews and reconciliations
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • QBE or part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in process improvements

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum + bonus

Job Type: Full-time, Office-based

We are working with a fantastic business who are looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in shaping finance processes as the business grows, working closely with the Finance Director and getting involved in a wide range of responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparation of management accounts
