Summary: The Management Accountant role at Redler requires a CIMA-qualified individual with prior management accounting experience and strong analytical skills. The position involves producing financial reports, contributing to budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role is pivotal in supporting strategic decision-making within the management team. This is a full-time, 6-month contract with the potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial and management information to produce management reports.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Produce financial statements including Balance Sheet, P&L, and cashflow.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Review and improve accounting processes to meet deadlines.
- Understand project accounting and Percentage of Completion costing.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and stock control.
- Produce and post monthly journals including prepayments and accruals.
- Perform detailed cost analysis and identify cost-saving measures.
- Monitor and control capital expenditure.
- Calculate, present, and pay VAT.
- Lead the annual audit with support from the finance team.
Key Skills:
- CIMA or similar qualification.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel.
- Thorough understanding of management information systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Solid commercial acumen.
- Previous experience with MS Dynamics is advantageous.
