Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update weekly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and supporting documentation.
- Complete daily reporting on revenue, costs, and volumes.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for depots and regions.
- Analyse variances against budget and prior periods, highlighting key issues.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare accruals/prepayments.
- Support depot managers in understanding financial reports and KPIs.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements.
- Travel to depots as needed to support training and financial reviews.
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified accountant.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational environment is desirable.
