Management Accountant

I'm recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a Peterborough-based business on an initial 6-month contract.

You'll be joining an established finance team, supporting the monthly management accounts process and working closely with budget holders across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
• Completing month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
• Analysing financial performance and investigating variances
• Working with budget holders to explain financial results and monitor expenditure
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc reporting and tasks

We're looking for someone with previous management accounts experience who is confident with month-end processes and financial analysis. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who can adapt quickly, remain positive through change and comfortably work within an evolving environment.

The details:

• Salary: c£40,000
• Contract: 6 months
• Location: Peterborough
• Initially fully office-based for the first month, moving to a hybrid working arrangement thereafter
