Michael Page are working with an Education Trust to recruit a Management Accountant. The role will be temporary, ongoing for the next 3 months to cover a period of absence. This is a grade 8 role paying 38626 - 41511. Client Details My client operates within the Education sector and have a family of 18 schools spread across Northumberland. Description The successful Management Accountant will: Undertake financial reporting and budget planning. Provide strategic insights based on financial analysis. Ensure financial compliance and regulatory adherence. Collaborate with various department heads to establish financial objectives. Implement financial systems to enhance efficiency. Manage external audits and address any discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Contribute to the overall goals of the Accounting & Finance department. Profile The successful candidate will have: Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role or similar. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Education or charity experience would be preferable.
