Summary: Artis Finance and Accountancy is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The role involves preparing management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insights to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with relevant experience and strong Excel skills. Immediate availability is required for this position based in Merthyr Tydfil.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Assist in cost control, cash flow analysis, and performance reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects and process improvements.

Key Skills:

• Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is desirable but not essential.

Salary (Rate): £48,000
