Summary: The Management Accountant role is a temporary position within a Health & Social Care Charity, focusing on supporting the finance function in a hands-on capacity. The position reports to the Senior Finance Business Partner and may transition to a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in public sector or not-for-profit organizations. This role emphasizes teamwork and the ability to manage financial data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the finance function in a hands-on role.
- Report to the Senior Finance Business Partner.
- Manage accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Raise invoices and post journals.
- Check data for senior managers and provide feedback as necessary.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified Accountant or Finalist (CIMA/ACA/CIPFA/ACCA).
- Experience in public sector or not-for-profit organizations.
- Relevant experience in management accounts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
Salary (Rate): £350 Daily

Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner and supporting the finance function in a hands-on role. Please note, this is a newly created role and could potentially go T2P dependent on performance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified Accountant or Finalist (CIMA/ACA/CIPFA/ACCA) with a background in Public sector or Not-For-Profit organisations. You will have relevant experience in similar roles, looking after management accounts and working on balance sheet reconciliations, raising invoices and posting journals. You will also be confident checking data for senior managers and pushing back if needed. This role is suited to a hands-on team player who can hit the ground running.
