Summary: The role of Management Accountant involves providing effective accounting and reporting services for a national transport organization in Northern England. The position requires a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in management accounting and financial analysis. The role is temporary for three months with the possibility of extension, and it offers a competitive daily rate. The working arrangement is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location.
Key Responsibilities:

- Support team management, although there will be no direct reports.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified Accountant (CIPFA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Extensive experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder and supplier management.
- Team management experience is beneficial.
- Public sector or mixed sector background preferred.
Salary (Rate): £340 Daily

What you'll need to succeed
- You must be a fully qualified Accountant (CIPFA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA) and a team player who can hit the ground running.
- You will have extensive experience in management accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
- You will be confident communicating with the wider business in a forward-facing role and experienced in stakeholder and supplier management.
- Team management experience is beneficial, although there will be no direct reports in this role.
- Public sector or mixed sector background is preferred.
