Michael Page have partnered with a reputable not-for-profit organsiation in the Greater Manchester region, to support with the recruitment of a Management Accountant on a 2 year FTC basis.

Description

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to monitor and control costs.
  • Provide financial advice to support organisational goals.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Profile: A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Experience working in the social housing sector or the wider public/not-for-profit sectors
  • Strong Management Accounting experience
  • Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

  • Salary of £47,000
  • Hybrid working arrangement for flexibility.
  • 2 year month Fixed-term contract
