Summary: The role of Interim Management Accountant involves supporting a high-growth private equity-backed business through finance duties and the integration of acquired businesses. The position is initially for 3-6 months with the potential for a permanent role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning and delivering the production of monthly management accounts
  • Owning P&L, balance sheet reconciliation process within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Assisting with FP&A duties with input into budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Preparing and posting journals, assisting with group consolidation and improving financial processes
  • Integrating acquired entities and business units into group processes within Dynamics Business Central
  • Delivery of further project-related activity in line with PE owners’ requirements

Key Skills:

  • ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified with 1-3 years PQE
  • Strong management accounting and month-end experience
  • Foundation in financial reporting
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Prior experience within a PE-backed business environment is beneficial
  • Understanding of IFRS or UKGAAP

Company: A high growth mid-market private equity backed business is recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract, with potential for permanent, as part of a buy & build. This is an integral role supporting the business through finance duties and ongoing integration of acquired businesses in to the Group.

Responsibilities: As the Interim Management Accountant, you will be:

  • Owning and delivering the production of monthly management accounts
  • Owning P&L, balance sheet reconciliation process within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Assisting with FP&A duties with input in to budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
  • Preparing and posting journals, assisting with group consolidation and improving financial processes

Candidate: The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with 1-3 years PQE
  • Be able to demonstrate strong management accounting and month end experience, along with a foundation in financial reporting
  • Have experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Prior experience within a PE-backed business environment is beneficial
  • Understanding of IFRS or UKGAAP
