Summary: The Management Accountant role in the live events sector involves overseeing financial processes and providing commercial insights for an established organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
- Oversee AR/AP processes, including invoicing, cash allocation and query resolution.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and support audit requirements.
- Manage revenue and settlement reconciliations, including stock and income postings.
- Drive process improvements, automation and stronger financial controls.
- Support payroll processing and cashflow forecasting.
- Partner with operational teams to deliver clear commercial insight.
- Support and develop junior finance team members.
Key Skills:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
- Strong management accounting experience in multi-revenue or operationally complex businesses.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience managing accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear insight.
