Key Responsibilities:

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the Cheil London network’s finance teams. This role will be covering Cheil UK, Iris London and BMB. The role requires a part qualified accountant who has experience with month end processes and revenue recognition. You will be a key member of the European Finance team ensuring accurate and prompt reporting to Group Finance and Commercial reporting to the Board, client teams and to Cheil HQ. There is an emphasis on commercial finance, understanding the client relationships and working closely with the client teams to support in month reporting and forecasting future revenues. This role offers an opportunity to manage junior members of the team. This role reports into the European FC.

How you'd spend your day

  • Business Partnering : Build internal relationships with key account leads, support them in commercial decision making, managing the finance on their client portfolios including risk and client balance sheets. Sharing regular updates with the finance leadership team.
  • Commercial Financial Management: Supporting the finance leadership team with ad-hoc commercial tasks, including reviewing and assessing client performance, client chargeability as well as agency performance and chargeability. Support the finance leadership team in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Month End Process: Responsibilities for ensuring accurate recognition of revenue, accruals and prepayments.
  • Revenue Recognition : Helping improve our existing revenue recognition processes in line with IFRS 15. Working closely with the client service teams to gain a good understanding of projects in process.
  • London BS Control: Producing Agency review packs for one entity within the Group and following up on BS actions identified from monthly Agency Pack reviews, including resolving reconciling items, improving reconciliation quality, and streamlining processes for better control and visibility.
