Interim Management Accountant- Immediate Start

Location: Liverpool City Centre

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (pro rata)

Contract: 2-3 Months Initially (Potential Extension)

Working Pattern: Hybrid Working

Resourcery Group is delighted to be recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to join a large, well-known and highly regarded organisation based in Liverpool city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive finance team within a business that offers a great working environment and hybrid working.

Our client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support to the finance function.

The initial contract will be for 2-3 months, with the potential to be extended further.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances.
• Accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Reviewing financial performance and providing commentary on variances.
• Working closely with the wider finance team to support month-end processes.
• Assisting with ad hoc finance projects and reporting requirements.

About You

• Previous experience working as a Management Accountant.
• Part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident working independently and managing deadlines.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to quickly adapt to a new environment.
• Available to start immediately or at very short notice.
