Summary: The Management Accountant role based in Leicester involves overseeing the month-end process, preparing management accounts, and delivering financial forecasts. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full month-end process, including preparation of management accounts, journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve financial understanding and support strategic decisions.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Contribute to the integration and alignment of financial reporting post-acquisition.
- Present financial information to senior stakeholders in a clear, impactful manner.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Immediately available or on short notice.
- Proven track record as a Management Accountant, preferably within a fast-paced, PE-backed, or acquisitive environment.
- Strong business partnering skills and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in process automation, continuous improvement, and financial transformation.
- Experience in Financial Services is advantageous.
