Summary: The Management Accountant role based in Hemel Hempstead involves supporting accounting and reporting functions for a specific division during a 12-month maternity cover. Key Responsibilities:

  • Period-end activities and financial reporting, including collaboration with Finance/Non-Finance Managers.
  • Create periodic reports and ensure period-end reconciliations for all investment spend balance sheet accounts, supported with documentation and narrative.
  • Processing journals as required.
  • Tight balance sheet management with regular in-depth reviews with various teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and control.

Management Accountant, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Hybrid- 2 days a week)
40- 45kpa plus benefits, 12 Months Contract

Our client, a leading multinational, are looking to bring on board a well-rounded Management Accountant, for a period of 12 months, due to maternity. This role is responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting for this particular division.

Key duties:-
Period-end activities and financial reporting, including working with Finance/Non-Finance Managers.
Create periodic reports and ensure period end reconciliations are prepared for all investment spend balance sheet accounts, fully supported with adequate documentation and narrative.
Processing journals when required.
Tight balance sheet management with regular in-depth reviews with various teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to improve efficiency and control.

The successful candidate will be immediately available (or on a very short notice period) and have strong month end experience. This role also requires strong business partnering skills, with the ability to present to leadership. Which will then also provide plenty of growth opportunities in the business long term.
