Summary: The Management Accountant role involves supporting financial planning and reporting processes within a dynamic team environment for a major client. The position requires a CIMA qualification or extensive experience in management accounting, focusing on both recurring and ad-hoc financial activities. This is an 11-month contract with a strong emphasis on collaboration with operational managers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units.
• Work with local business managers to define and propose improvement projects for budget inclusion.
• Manage financial reporting to ensure visibility of performance and early warning of financial risks.
• Challenge operational performance and advise management on achieving financial targets.
• Participate in assessing business cases for operational investments and performance improvement projects.
• Conduct financial controlling activities in various cost categories.

Key Skills:

• CIMA qualification preferred with at least 2 years PQE in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
• Minimum of 5 years in a business partnering or management accounting role.
• Knowledge and experience in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders.
