Summary: The Management Accountant role involves supporting central controlling teams in financial planning and reporting for a £4bn turnover company. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units.
• Work closely with local business/operational managers to define and propose improvement projects for budget inclusion.
• Manage financial reporting to ensure visibility of performance versus targets and early warning of financial risks.
• Challenge operational performance and advise management on achieving targets through improvement measures.
• Participate in assessing business cases for operational investments and performance improvement projects.
• Conduct financial controlling activities in categories such as Recurring Cost, Inventory, Non-Recurring Cost, and Capex Jigs/Tools.

Key Skills:

• CIMA qualification preferred, with a minimum of 5 years in a business partnering or management accounting role.
• At least 2 years PQE in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
• Knowledge and experience in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team with a positive, proactive mindset.
