Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis
- Design and sustain a robust set of management reports to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Deliver actionable financial insights through thorough data analysis and interpretation
- Review and validate ledger entries to uphold the accuracy and reliability of financial records
- Contribute to the enhancement and optimisation of financial systems and reporting capabilities
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns, maintaining all necessary supporting schedules and documentation
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Lead the external audit process
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within professional services
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with proven ability to manage complex data sets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
