Summary: The Management Accountant role is a contract position based in West Lothian, Scotland, primarily focused on financial processes related to clinical supply services within a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and corporate reporting packages. This position requires experience in accounting within the Pharma/FMCG or manufacturing industries and offers a potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute financial processes for preparation and review of transactions supporting comparator teams in sourcing medicines for clinical trials.
• Prepare, analyze, and review transactions impacting the site, including accruals and prepayments at month-end close.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Management reports, comparing to Site Budget.
• Conduct sales analysis, departmental base cost, and headcount reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Corporate reporting packages.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years overall accounting and finance experience in Pharma/FMCG or manufacturing industries.
• Part qualified accountant or fully qualified accountant.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems.
