Summary: The Management Accountant role is a contract position based in Dublin, reporting to the Financial Controller within the Motor Finance division. The position involves producing monthly management accounts, coordinating revenue and P&L postings, and managing cash flow in a regulated financial services environment. This hands-on role requires interaction with senior stakeholders and is expected to last for four months, with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of monthly management accounts production
- Ownership and coordination of revenue postings
- Coordination of P&L postings
- Daily bank reconciliations and ownership of resolution process
- Support balance sheet substantiation process
- Cashflow management, including daily funding requirements, treasury drawdowns, and cash management of customer collections
- Ownership of bi-monthly VAT returns
- Support annual VAT RTD returns
- Support Form 46G returns
- Draft investor reports relating to securitisation programme
- Creation and maintenance of data tapes
- Respond to investor and stakeholder queries
- Ownership of monthly accrual postings
- Maintain supporting schedules
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Ideally financial services experience/background
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical capability
- Confident working with senior stakeholders
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and self-motivated approach

Role Overview:
